Richard Stallman in Cosenza and Napoli

Richard Stallman, founder of the GNU project and of the Free Software Foundation, will be in Cosenza at the University of Calabria first, and then will be visiting us in Napoli for two days of speeches, during an event organized by HackLab Cosenza, ISF-Napoli an NaLug.

All along the speeches, conferences and panels, the main theme will be the Free Software in all of its faces; as freedom to research, as opportunity for developement and as preservation of civil rights.

In Naples the two days will have different targets: the first day will be addressed to students, teachers and enthusiasts; the second day will addressed enterprises, institutions and research institutes closer. The following speeches will be given by RMS:
23 March 2006: "Free Software in Ethics and Pratice"
24 March 2006: "The Danger of Software Patents"
Each speech will be followed by a discussion. On the second day there will be well-known personalities lecturing on the hot issues and institutional guests.
